Paul M. Anderson, Esquire

Paul M. Anderson is a founding partner of Anderson & Hart, P.A. Paul limits his practice to personal injury, wrongful death and workers' compensation cases.
Education: Bachelor of Arts, Florida State University (1979). Juris Doctorate with Honors, Florida State University College of Law (1987).

Trial Experience: Paul is admitted to practice in all Florida courts and in the United States District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Florida. He handles all aspects of courtroom trial work. He has tried more than two hundred-fifty personal injury and workers' compensation cases. He has also represented plaintiffs in approximately twenty-five cases at the appellate court level.

Professional Service/Memberships: Paul served as the first Tallahassee based president of The Florida Justice Association (formerly the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers) in 2013–14. Paul is one of fifteen plaintiff attorneys who serve on the Executive Council of the Workers' Compensation Section of the Florida Bar. He served for many years as the Section's legislative chair. He has also served on the Board of Directors of the Florida Workers’ Advocates. Paul has been a board certified workers’ compensation attorney since 1998. He is a member of the National Association of Distinguished Counsel (The 1% club), the Trial Law and Workers' Compensation Sections of the Florida Bar, the Florida Justice Association, the Capital City Justice Association, the Florida Workers' Advocates, the Tallahassee Bar Association, and the American Association for Justice.

Legislative Experience: Paul serves as the principal lobbyist for Anderson Governmental Solutions, LLC., and as a member lobbyist for the Florida Justice Association. He has lobbied and testified before the Florida Legislature for more than 12 years on a wide range of legislation, including bills impacting automobile insurance, court systems, insurance bad faith, medical malpractice liability, nursing home liability, premises liability, products liability and workers' compensation.

Lectures/Seminars: Paul is active in educating school children on the law through the Florida Supreme Court's Justice Teaching Program. He has also served as a guest lecturer at the Florida State University College of Law. Recent seminar lectures include presentations at the Conference of the Judges of Compensation Claims, the FJA Annual Convention (automobile litigation), the Florida Bar Workers' Compensation Board Certification Forum, the FWCI Workers' Compensation Educational Conference and the Florida Workers' Advocates Annual Convention.
